Ron was born and raised on Long Island, NY and lived there until 1997 when his wife, children and he moved to the Adirondack Park in upstate New York. Ron is retired from many years as a TV Engineer at ABC Television Network in New York City. In 1976 he was awarded an Emmy for "Outstanding Individual Achievement in Sports Programming" for Video Tape Editing at the Montreal Summer Olympics. Prior to those many years, Ron worked at WPIX-TV and was a cameraman at Yankee Stadium during the time that the Mick's career was winding down. He was also employed as a TV cameraman and audio engineer at NBC Network in NYC where he had the fortune to work on The Tonight Show with Johnny Carson.
